In trading on Wednesday, gas utilities shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 0.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Ferrellgas Partners, off about 1.9% and shares of UGI Corporation down about 1.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Wednesday are construction materials & machinery shares, up on the day by about 0.2% as a group, led down by Forterra, trading lower by about 13.7% and Alpha Pro Tech, trading lower by about 6.8%.
