Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) increased its dividend by 10% to $0.84 per share on an annualized basis. In accordance with the increase, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 a share on the company's common stock, payable on April 24, 2019 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 3, 2019.
Northern Trust Corporation (NASDAQ:NTRS) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.60 per share on its common stock, payable on April 1, 2019, to holders of record at 5:00 p.m., Chicago time, on March 8, 2019. The dividend represents a 9 percent increase from the prior quarterly rate of $0.55 per share, and results in an annualized dividend rate of $2.40, compared with the prior annualized rate of $2.20.
Comerica (NYSE:CMA) announced an increase in our quarterly cash dividend for common stock of 7 cents, or 12 percent, to 67 cents ($0.67) per share. The dividend is payable April 1, 2019, to common stock shareholders of record at the close of business on March 15, 2019.
American Electric Power (NASDAQ:AEP) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 67 cents a share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable March 8, 2019, to shareholders of record as of Feb. 8, 2019, and is the company's 435th consecutive quarterly common stock cash dividend.
Synchrony Financial (NYSE:SYF) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per share of common stock, payable on February 14, 2019 to holders of record at the close of business on February 4, 2019.
