In trading on Wednesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 4.3%. Leading the group were shares of Pioneer Energy Services (PES), up about 20.9% and shares of Ultra Petroleum (UPL) up about 16.8% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are shipping shares, up on the day by about 4.1% as a group, led by Danaos Corporation (NYSE:DAC), trading up by about 14% and Navios Maritime Partners (NYSE:NMM), trading higher by about 13% on Wednesday.
