The iShares Global Healthcare ETF (NYSE:IXJ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 1.2 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 302,000. Shares of IXJ were off about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY), trading off about 0.2% with over 12.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Celgene (CELG), off about 2.7% on volume of over 12.6 million shares. Mckesson (NYSE:MCK) is the component faring the best Monday, higher by about 3.4% on the day, while Allergan (AGN) is lagging other components of the iShares Global Healthcare ETF, trading lower by about 3.8%.
