The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 1.3 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 43,000. Shares of EEMA were down about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were NIO, trading up about 7.8% with over 227.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and JD.COM, off about 2% on volume of over 5.6 million shares. Baidu is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia ETF Thursday, trading lower by about 3.4%.
