The SPDR— S&P 400 Mid Cap Growth ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 143,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 53,000. Shares of MDYG were up about 1.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Cleveland-cliffs, trading up about 1.6% with over 15.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sabre, up about 2.2% on volume of over 4.1 million shares. Digital Turbine is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 5% on the day, while WW International is lagging other components of the SPDR— S&P 400 Mid Cap Growth ETF, trading lower by about 3.2%.
