The board of directors of Target has declared a quarterly dividend of $1.12 per common share, a 1.8% increase from the prior quarterly dividend of $1.10. The dividend is payable Sept. 10, 2024 to shareholders of record at the close of business August 21, 2024. The 3rd quarter dividend will be the company's 228th consecutive dividend paid since October 1967 when the company became publicly held. With the increase announced today, 2024 is on track to be the 53rd consecutive year in which Target has increased its annual dividend.
Realty Income, The Monthly Dividend Company—, today announced it has declared an increase in the company's common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2630 per share from $0.2625 per share. The dividend is payable on July 15, 2024, to stockholders of record as of July 1, 2024. This is the 126th dividend increase since Realty Income's listing on the NYSE in 1994. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $3.156 per share as compared to the prior annualized dividend amount of $3.150 per share.
The Oracle board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share of outstanding common stock. This dividend will be paid to stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 11, 2024, with a payment date of July 25, 2024.
Roper Technologies announced that its Board of Directors has approved a dividend of $0.75 per share payable on July 22, 2024 to stockholders of record on July 8, 2024.
The Board of Directors of Caterpillar voted today to raise the quarterly dividend by eleven cents, an 8% increase, to one dollar and forty-one cents per share of common stock, payable August 20, 2024, to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 22, 2024. The Board of Directors also added $20 billion to its current share repurchase authorization, which was launched in 2022 with no expiration date. With the new authorization, Caterpillar Inc. may repurchase up to approximately $21.8 billion of its common stock.
