In early trading on Thursday, shares of Brown-Forman topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 11.0%. Year to date, Brown-Forman has lost about 20.3% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Synopsys, trading down 8.8%. Synopsys is showing a gain of 4.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Fiserv, trading down 6.2%, and Southwest Airlines, trading up 3.4% on the day.
