In early trading on Friday, shares of Diamondback Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.2%. Year to date, Diamondback Energy, Inc. has lost about 5.0% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Adobe, trading down 6.3%. Adobe is lower by about 12.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Visa, trading down 4.8%, and CF Industries Holdings, trading up 4.0% on the day.
