In trading on Thursday, auto dealerships shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.7%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Sonic Automotive, down about 8.7% and shares of Group 1 Automotive, down about 8.4% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are cigarettes & tobacco shares, down on the day by about 1.5% as a group, led down by British American Tobacco, trading lower by about 2.2% and Philip Morris International, trading lower by about 2%.
