As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, Pfizer's Director, Ronald E. Blaylock, made a $998,821 purchase of PFE, buying 39,231 shares at a cost of $25.46 each. So far Blaylock is in the green, up about 2.7% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $26.15. Pfizer is trading up about 0.3% on the day Thursday.
And at Gbank Financial Holdings, there was insider buying on Tuesday, by President/CEO Jeffrey K. Newgard who purchased 32,263 shares at a cost of $21.67 each, for a total investment of $699,025. Gbank Financial Holdings is trading up about 4.7% on the day Thursday.
