Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: URA (2/24, 2:23 PM ET) -- The Uranium ETF (URA) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 1.9 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 614,000. Shares of URA were down about 1.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Nexgen Energy (NXE.CA), trading down about 2.1% with over 2.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Uranium Resources (URRE), off about 3.9% on volume of over 1.5 million shares. Laramide Resources (LAM.CA) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 5% on the day.
