Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: WOOD (3/20, 1:18 PM ET) -- The iShares Global Timber & Forestry ETF (WOOD) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 158,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 27,000. Shares of WOOD were off about 1.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were International Paper (IP), trading down about 2.7% with over 1.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Weyerhaeuser (WY), off about 1.3% on volume of over 1.1 million shares. Rayonier (RYN) is the component faring the best Wednesday, lower by about 0.3% on the day.
