Wednesday's ETF Movers: IYT, FBT (4/17, 1:15 PM ET) -- In trading on Wednesday, the iShares Transportation Average ETF (IYT) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of United Continental Holdings (UAL), up about 4.8% and shares of CSX (CSX), up about 4.6% on the day.

And underperforming other ETFs today is the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF (FBT), off about 4.7% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Ionis Pharmaceuticals (IONS), lower by about 13.2%, and shares of Intrexon (XON), lower by about 10.2% on the day.
