Friday Sector Leaders: Semiconductors, Metals & Mining Stocks (1/17, 12:21 PM ET) -- In trading on Friday, semiconductors shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.6%. Leading the group were shares of GSI Technology, up about 44.4% and shares of Qorvo up about 10.9% on the day.

Also showing relative strength are metals & mining shares, up on the day by about 1.9% as a group, led by Critical Metals, trading up by about 7.3% and Centrus Energy, trading higher by about 5.8% on Friday.
