Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in SP Plus Corp (NASDAQ:SP), where a total of 622 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 62,200 underlying shares. That amounts to about 59.4% of SP's average daily trading volume over the past month of 104,775 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $35 strike put option expiring July 16, 2021, with 611 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 61,100 underlying shares of SP. Box Inc (NYSE:BOX) saw options trading volume of 13,641 contracts, representing approximately 1.4 million underlying shares or approximately 59.2% of BOX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.3 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $25 strike call option expiring June 18, 2021, with 1,641 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 164,100 underlying shares of BOX.
