Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), where a total of 260,634 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 26.1 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 97.1% of MSFT's average daily trading volume over the past month of 26.8 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $215 strike call option expiring January 22, 2021, with 16,553 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.7 million underlying shares of MSFT. Dominos Pizza Inc. (NYSE:DPZ) options are showing a volume of 5,280 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 528,000 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 91% of DPZ's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 579,990 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $370 strike put option expiring March 19, 2021, with 238 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 23,800 underlying shares of DPZ.
