Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Macy's Inc (NYSE:M), where a total of 121,978 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 12.2 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 55.5% of M's average daily trading volume over the past month of 22.0 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $15 strike call option expiring March 19, 2021, with 21,444 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 2.1 million underlying shares of M. Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE:SKT) saw options trading volume of 30,393 contracts, representing approximately 3.0 million underlying shares or approximately 54.5% of SKT's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 5.6 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $17 strike put option expiring June 18, 2021, with 14,578 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.5 million underlying shares of SKT. And Mr Cooper Group Inc (NASDAQ:COOP) saw options trading volume of 4,525 contracts, representing approximately 452,500 underlying shares or approximately 54.3% of COOP's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 833,870 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike put option expiring April 16, 2021, with 3,021 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 302,100 underlying shares of COOP.
