Notable Monday Option Activity: CPRI, SKX, ODP

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Capri Holdings Ltd (NYSE:CPRI), where a total of 11,709 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.2 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 57.2% of CPRI's average daily trading volume over the past month of 2.0 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $50 strike put option expiring May 07, 2021, with 2,500 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 250,000 underlying shares of CPRI. Skechers USA Inc (NYSE:SKX) options are showing a volume of 9,340 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 934,000 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 55.6% of SKX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.7 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $42 strike put option expiring April 23, 2021, with 2,096 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 209,600 underlying shares of SKX. Particularly high volume was seen for the $40 strike put option expiring January 21, 2022, with 1,831 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 183,100 underlying shares of ODP.
