Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in ServiceNow Inc (NYSE:NOW), where a total of 11,903 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.2 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 69.6% of NOW's average daily trading volume over the past month of 1.7 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $490 strike put option expiring June 17, 2022, with 1,000 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 100,000 underlying shares of NOW. Expedia Group Inc (NASDAQ:EXPE) options are showing a volume of 14,132 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 1.4 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 69.5% of EXPE's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.0 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $200 strike call option expiring May 21, 2021, with 1,522 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 152,200 underlying shares of EXPE.
