Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE:DDD), where a total of 120,607 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 12.1 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 275.9% of DDD's average daily trading volume over the past month of 4.4 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $45 strike call option expiring June 25, 2021, with 6,745 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 674,500 underlying shares of DDD. Twilio Inc (NYSE:TWLO) saw options trading volume of 41,677 contracts, representing approximately 4.2 million underlying shares or approximately 216% of TWLO's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.9 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $385 strike call option expiring June 25, 2021, with 10,412 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.0 million underlying shares of TWLO. And Vidler Water Resources Inc (VWTR) saw options trading volume of 2,301 contracts, representing approximately 230,100 underlying shares or approximately 160% of VWTR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 143,825 shares.
