Notable Friday Option Activity: INTU, MDB, SNPS

Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Intuit Inc (NASDAQ:INTU), where a total volume of 5,613 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 561,300 underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 52.5% of INTU's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.1 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $490 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 1,412 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 141,200 underlying shares of INTU. MongoDB Inc (NASDAQ:MDB) saw options trading volume of 3,588 contracts, representing approximately 358,800 underlying shares or approximately 52% of MDB's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 689,900 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $365 strike call option expiring July 23, 2021, with 500 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 50,000 underlying shares of MDB.
