Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE:AZO), where a total of 1,481 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 148,100 underlying shares. That amounts to about 76.9% of AZO's average daily trading volume over the past month of 192,490 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $1545 strike put option expiring July 23, 2021, with 380 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 38,000 underlying shares of AZO. GrowGeneration Corp (NASDAQ:GRWG) options are showing a volume of 11,975 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 1.2 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 76.3% of GRWG's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.6 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $55 strike call option expiring August 20, 2021, with 1,571 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 157,100 underlying shares of GRWG.
