Looking at options trading activity among components of the S&P 500 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Fiserv Inc (FISV), where a total volume of 17,707 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 1.8 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). Particularly high volume was seen for the $125 strike call option expiring September 17, 2021, with 2,289 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 228,900 underlying shares of FISV. Particularly high volume was seen for the $445 strike call option expiring July 30, 2021, with 278 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 27,800 underlying shares of URI.
