Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Zillow Group Inc (NASDAQ:Z), where a total of 19,823 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 2.0 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 58.3% of Z's average daily trading volume over the past month of 3.4 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $80 strike put option expiring January 20, 2023, with 5,201 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 520,100 underlying shares of Z. Interactive Brokers Group Inc - Class A (NASDAQ:IBKR) options are showing a volume of 5,317 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 531,700 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 57.6% of IBKR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 923,805 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $50 strike put option expiring January 21, 2022, with 5,000 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 500,000 underlying shares of IBKR.
