Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Signature Bank (SBNY), where a total of 2,522 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 252,200 underlying shares. That amounts to about 47.7% of SBNY's average daily trading volume over the past month of 528,900 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $185 strike put option expiring August 20, 2021, with 535 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 53,500 underlying shares of SBNY. Mirati Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:MRTX) saw options trading volume of 1,572 contracts, representing approximately 157,200 underlying shares or approximately 47.4% of MRTX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 331,930 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $115 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 520 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 52,000 underlying shares of MRTX.
