Notable Tuesday Option Activity: CBOE, BLK, WDC

Among the underlying components of the S&P 500 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Cboe Global Markets Inc (AMEX:CBOE), where a total of 2,980 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 298,000 underlying shares. That amounts to about 56.7% of CBOE's average daily trading volume over the past month of 525,780 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $121 strike call option expiring August 27, 2021, with 515 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 51,500 underlying shares of CBOE. Blackrock Inc (NYSE:BLK) saw options trading volume of 3,051 contracts, representing approximately 305,100 underlying shares or approximately 55.2% of BLK's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 553,185 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $980 strike call option expiring January 20, 2023, with 235 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 23,500 underlying shares of BLK.
