Noteworthy Tuesday Option Activity: F, GNRC, HPQ

Among the underlying components of the S&P 500 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F), where a total of 464,975 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 46.5 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 85.6% of F's average daily trading volume over the past month of 54.3 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $11 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 53,418 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 5.3 million underlying shares of F. Generac Holdings Inc (NYSE:GNRC) saw options trading volume of 6,361 contracts, representing approximately 636,100 underlying shares or approximately 78.4% of GNRC's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 810,835 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $380 strike put option expiring August 20, 2021, with 588 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 58,800 underlying shares of GNRC.
