Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Twilio Inc (NYSE:TWLO), where a total of 11,287 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.1 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 93.6% of TWLO's average daily trading volume over the past month of 1.2 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $340 strike call option expiring September 17, 2021, with 1,021 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 102,100 underlying shares of TWLO. Danimer Scientific Inc (NYSE:DNMR) options are showing a volume of 22,137 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 2.2 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 93.2% of DNMR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.4 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $15 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 12,392 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.2 million underlying shares of DNMR.
