Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in DoubleVerify Holdings Inc (NYSE:DV), where a total of 13,291 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.3 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 283% of DV's average daily trading volume over the past month of 469,700 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike put option expiring November 19, 2021, with 5,073 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 507,300 underlying shares of DV. Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS) options are showing a volume of 71,069 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 7.1 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 266.6% of GS's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.7 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $420 strike call option expiring October 22, 2021, with 6,790 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 679,000 underlying shares of GS. Especially high volume was seen for the $2850 strike call option expiring October 22, 2021, with 933 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 93,300 underlying shares of GOOG.
