Noteworthy Tuesday Option Activity: EVER, WDFC, VIAC

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in EverQuote Inc (NASDAQ:EVER), where a total of 1,036 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 103,600 underlying shares. That amounts to about 53.8% of EVER's average daily trading volume over the past month of 192,490 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $15 strike put option expiring November 19, 2021, with 163 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 16,300 underlying shares of EVER. WD-40 Co (NASDAQ:WDFC) saw options trading volume of 370 contracts, representing approximately 37,000 underlying shares or approximately 53.3% of WDFC's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 69,455 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $250 strike call option expiring November 19, 2021, with 107 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 10,700 underlying shares of WDFC. Especially high volume was seen for the $40 strike call option expiring October 22, 2021, with 4,911 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 491,100 underlying shares of VIAC.
