Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Lumentum Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:LITE), where a total of 4,991 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 499,100 underlying shares. That amounts to about 70% of LITE's average daily trading volume over the past month of 712,540 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $90 strike put option expiring November 19, 2021, with 1,744 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 174,400 underlying shares of LITE. Particularly high volume was seen for the $135 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 500 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 50,000 underlying shares of DOOR. And OPKO Health Inc (NASDAQ:OPK) options are showing a volume of 23,577 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 2.4 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 66.2% of OPK's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 3.6 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $4 strike put option expiring March 18, 2022, with 5,005 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 500,500 underlying shares of OPK.
