Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Crocs Inc (NASDAQ:CROX), where a total of 9,545 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 954,500 underlying shares. That amounts to about 50.7% of CROX's average daily trading volume over the past month of 1.9 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $110 strike put option expiring January 21, 2022, with 890 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 89,000 underlying shares of CROX. Cal-Maine Foods Inc (NASDAQ:CALM) saw options trading volume of 1,762 contracts, representing approximately 176,200 underlying shares or approximately 46.4% of CALM's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 379,830 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $37.50 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 537 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 53,700 underlying shares of CALM. Especially high volume was seen for the $12.50 strike call option expiring February 18, 2022, with 10,888 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.1 million underlying shares of LXP.
