Noteworthy Wednesday Option Activity: NVRO, VSCO, NOVA

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Nevro Corp (NYSE:NVRO), where a total of 2,783 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 278,300 underlying shares. That amounts to about 50.5% of NVRO's average daily trading volume over the past month of 551,255 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $90 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 1,235 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 123,500 underlying shares of NVRO. Victorias Secret & Co (NYSE:VSCO) options are showing a volume of 6,048 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 604,800 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 50% of VSCO's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.2 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $55 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 1,964 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 196,400 underlying shares of VSCO. And Sunnova Energy International Inc (NYSE:NOVA) options are showing a volume of 12,716 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 1.3 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 48.6% of NOVA's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.6 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $35 strike call option expiring February 18, 2022, with 5,434 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 543,400 underlying shares of NOVA.
