Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Bed, Bath & Beyond, Inc. (BBBY), where a total of 176,981 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 17.7 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 279.5% of BBBY's average daily trading volume over the past month of 6.3 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $5 strike put option expiring July 01, 2022, with 21,312 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 2.1 million underlying shares of BBBY. MicroStrategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) saw options trading volume of 16,327 contracts, representing approximately 1.6 million underlying shares or approximately 154.3% of MSTR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.1 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $175 strike put option expiring July 01, 2022, with 708 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 70,800 underlying shares of MSTR.
