Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in LendingClub Corp (NYSE:LC), where a total volume of 13,000 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 1.3 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 79.8% of LC's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.6 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $7 strike call option expiring February 17, 2023, with 1,735 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 173,500 underlying shares of LC. TD SYNNEX Corp (NYSE:SNX) saw options trading volume of 2,198 contracts, representing approximately 219,800 underlying shares or approximately 71.9% of SNX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 305,560 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $100 strike put option expiring February 17, 2023, with 1,741 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 174,100 underlying shares of SNX. And Microvision Inc. (NASDAQ:MVIS) saw options trading volume of 12,947 contracts, representing approximately 1.3 million underlying shares or approximately 71% of MVIS's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.8 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $1 strike put option expiring January 19, 2024, with 3,712 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 371,200 underlying shares of MVIS.
