After the bell yesterday, Validus Holdings (NYSE:VR) declared its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 3.6% going forward.
Shares of Validus were trading modestly higher today, up almost 0.4% so far.
In other dividend news, CSX Corporation (NYSE:CSX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 24 cents per share. And Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE:BAM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Cardinal Health (NYSE:CAH) announced its quarterly dividend of 19.5 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend in March of 17.5 cents. And Fifth Street Finance (NASDAQ:FSC) announced its quarterly dividend of 32 cents per share, an increase of about 7% over its prior dividend in March of 30 cents.
