After the bell yesterday, Chimera Investment (NYSE:CIM) declared its quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share, an increase of about 6% over its prior dividend of 17 cents per share. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 17.4% going forward.
In afternoon trading, shares of Chimera were higher, gaining 2.7% so far.
In other dividend news, CVS Caremark (NYSE:CVS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 8.75 cents per share. Campbell Soup (NYSE:CPB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share. Western Union (NYSE:WU) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. And Annaly Capital Management (NYSE:NLY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 68 cents per share.
