European Stocks Boosted by Debt Package Hopes Monday, October 24, 1:02 PM ET
European stocks are rising today following a meeting of European Union officials over the weekend.
European officials are expected to announce a comprehensive set of measures Wednesday that will deal with Greece's sovereign debt crisis, as well as provide support to other economies and financial systems in the region.
The Euro Trust (NYSE:FXE) is trading down over .3% Monday.
The FTSE RAFI Europe Portfolio (PEF) is trading flat Monday. It includes the European-listed stocks of such companies as ING Groep (NYSE:ING), Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD) and BP (NYSE:BP).
The SPDR EURO STOXX 50 ETF (NYSE:FEZ) is trading down over .3%, with top holdings Total (TOT), Siemens (SI) and Sanofi (NASDAQ:SNY).
