Aetna Incorporated (AET) announced its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend in October of 15 cents. The company posted strong results in its last earnings report due to lower than expected use of health care services.
Shares are lower by about four tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Monsanto Company (MON) maintained its quarterly dividend of 30 cents per share. Cameco Corporation (NYSE:CCJ) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, SL Green Realty Corporation (NYSE:SLG) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 150% over its prior dividend in September of 10 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Potlatch Corporation (NASDAQ:PCH) announced its quarterly dividend of 31 cents per share, a decrease of about 39% from its prior dividend in September of 51 cents.
