Travelers Companies Incorporated (NYSE:TRV) announced its quarterly dividend of 46 cents per share, an increase of about 12% over its prior dividend in March of 41 cents. The dividend will be payable on June 29, 2012, to stockholders of record on June 8, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of June 6, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 3.1 percent.
Shares are higher by about 3.9 percent.
In other dividend news, Citigroup Incorporated (NYSE:C) maintained its quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share. Schlumberger Limited (NYSE:SLB) maintained its quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share. Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Kinder Morgan Incorporated (NYSE:KMI) announced its quarterly dividend of 32 cents per share, an increase of about 3% over its prior dividend in January of 31 cents.
