The S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF (PBP) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 377,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 104,000. Shares of PBP were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Bank of America (BAC), trading up about 2.9% with over 83.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Chesapeake Energy (CHK), up about 8.5% on volume of over 47.9 million shares. Sears Holdings (SHLD) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 15% on the day, while Avon Products (AVP) is lagging other components of the S&P 500 BuyWrite Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 8.1%.
