The first trading day of the week has investors fretting Greek election results after a Spanish bailout.
Good morning, this is Kristin Bianco with the Week Ahead Market Report for June 11, 2012.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was higher by about two percent, while the Hang Seng was lower by about 2.44 percent. The FTSE 100 is higher by about a quarter of a percent, and the German DAX is higher by about one percent.
On the earnings front, expect to hear from Gold Reserve (GRZ) and Michael Kors (KORS) on Tuesday, as well as Capstone Turbine (CPST), Smithfield Foods (SFD), and Winnebago Industries (NYSE:WGO) on Thursday.
In economic news, expect to hear data on retail sales on Wednesday, continuing claims on Thursday, and capacity utilization on Friday.
