The SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF (AMEX:GWL) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 256,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 134,000. Shares of GWL were up about 2.8% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Kinross Gold (TSE:K.CA), trading up about 1.3% with over 2.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and SK Telecom Limited Sponsored (NYSE:SKM), up about 3% on volume of over 2.1 million shares. LG Display Limited (NYSE:LPL) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 6.8% on the day, while Snc-lavalin Group (SNC.CA) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P World ex-US ETF, trading lower by about 4.8%.
