Avista Corporation (NYSE:AVA) announced its quarterly dividend of 30.5 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in November of 29 cents. This will bring the dividend to an annualized $1.22 per share from the previous payout of $1.16 per share. The dividend will be paid on March 15, 2013, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Feb 22, 2013.
Shares are higher by about two tenths of a percent.
In other dividend news, Ixys Corporation (IXYS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 3 cents per share. Universal Insurance Holdings Incorporated (NYSE:UVE) maintained a dividend of 8 cents per share. Ares Dynamic Credit Allocation Fund (NYSE:ARDC) maintained a dividend of 11.7 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Jack Henry & Associates Incorporated (NASDAQ:JKHY) announced its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share, an increase of about 13% over its prior dividend in November of 11.5 cents.
