This morning, Nomura raised its price target on shares of American Express (NYSE:AXP) to $89 as the firm believe consensus estimates may be too low for the coming quarters. With the higher price target, Nomura reiterated its buy rating. Shares of AXP were higher by 0.8% so far today.
BMO Capital initiated coverage on shares of Verizon (NYSE:VZ) with an overweight rating as the company continues to gain market share. In the report, BMO Capital set a $55 price target. Shares of Verizon were lower on Thursday, falling 0.6%.
And Goldman Sachs upgraded shares of Sunpower (NASDAQ:SPWR) from sell to neutral citing valuation. The stock has pulled back closer to the firm's $18 price target after climbing to nearly $24 in recent weeks. Shares of SPWR rallied today, picking up 4.1%.
