Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the PowerShares QQQ (NASDAQ:QQQ), which added 26 million shares, or a 5.5% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of QQQ, in morning trading today Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is off about 9.2%, and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) is lower by about 3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the S&P SmallCap Consumer Staples Portfolio (NASDAQ:PSCC), which added 200,000 shares, for a whopping 36.4% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of PSCC, in morning trading today Casey's General Stores (NASDAQ:CASY) is down about 0.9%, and Treehouse Foods (NYSE:THS) is lower by about 0.1%.
