Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Exelon (NYSE:EXC), trading up about 0.2% with over 3.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and PPL (NYSE:PPL), up about 0.8% on volume of over 2.9 million shares. AES (NYSE:AES) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 1% on the day, while Middlesex Water (NASDAQ:MSEX) is lagging other components of the Vanguard Utilities ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
