The iShares MSCI USA Momentum Factor ETF (AMEX:MTUM) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 135,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 28,000. Shares of MTUM were down about 1.6% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Micron (NASDAQ:MU), trading off about 6.7% with over 38.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), off about 2.1% on volume of over 20.2 million shares. T-Mobile US (NYSE:TMUS) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 5.5% on the day, while L 3 Communications Holdings (NYSE:LLL) is lagging other components of the iShares MSCI USA Momentum Factor ETF, trading lower by about 16%.
