The Guggenheim Shipping ETF (NYSE:SEA) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 103,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 31,000. Shares of SEA were up about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Nordic American Tanker (NYSE:NAT), trading up about 3.4% with over 1.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Dht Holdings (NYSE:DHT), up about 2.6% on volume of over 1.8 million shares. Gaslog Partners LP (GLOP) is the component faring the best Thursday, up by about 5.4% on the day, while Navios Maritime Partners LP (NYSE:NMM) is lagging other components of the Guggenheim Shipping ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
